Help The Annual Fund GrowPosted 12/06/2013
Giving thanks? Please consider showing your appreciation to the Stevens PTA. Donate to our Annual Fund because, second only to love, an excellent education is one of the greatest and most long-lasting gifts that you can give to your child.
You can send donations into school in an envelope marked Stevens PTA Annual Fund or donate online with PayPal here. (Remember the PayPal takes away a sliver of your donation, so we prefer checks.)
If you have any questions, please email Christine Stepherson, chair of the Annual Fund or Larisa Moore, PTA co-fundraising chair. You can also look for Fundraising Chair Sarah Parsons on the playground.
Outdoor Heaters Needed
As you've noticed, it's remarkably cold outside! when you come to the school this weekend to shop or volunteer, make sure to dress very warmly. On that note, please let us know if you have an outdoor heater that we could use to keep our cheery volunteers and community members warm. We can help with delivery. Call or email Sarah Flotard if you might have one to share: (206) 661-0615.
Volunteers STILL Needed for
the Tree Sale
& Latke Breakfast
We need a few more hands to pull of our fun events. Tomorrow's pancake breakfast could use a few more flapjack flippers.
The tree sale needs one more cashier for the early shift (8:30AM–11:00AM). Here's how to sign up:
And finally, if you have an extra moment today, stop by the school and help unload trees. No need to call ahead for this task!
Our annual jump-a-thon is coming January 23rd! This is a fun school-wide jump rope event where students (and even some teachers) challenge themselves to reach their personal best and raise money for Stevens. We had a fabulous coordinator last year who has left the event in tip-top order for the next organizer.
What does this job involve?
- Distributing pledge sheets to classes
- Coordinating volunteers day of
- Collecting pledge sheets post event

Please bring your donations DIRECTLY to your child's classroom! We are having a class and grade level competition to see which class and grade can collect the most food donations.
Donations of peanut butter , pasta, canned vegetables, cans of soup, macaroni and cheese, crackers, snacks, granola bars, raisins, dried fruits and MORE are needed. All donations will go to support TuTu's Pantry. Thank you for your support.
Along with the food drive, this year we will be helping Stevens families with holiday gifts in the form of gift cards. We are asking for donations of cash or checks (made out to the Stevens PTA). Please take an envelope from the bulletin board in the main entrance of the school, place your donation inside, and return it to the main office. Donations are due Wednesday, December 11.
