I was born and raised in Mexico City where I completed my high school
education. I moved to the United States in 1992 and studying at Gonzaga
University in Spokane Washington. Initially, I studied in the ESL
department, then I majored in Philosophy and Italian for three years. I
worked for three years for the Bilingual program in the Walla Walla School
District. Next I moved to Renton and taught in the ESL department. I began
at Stevens in 2004, and I love it here. I can whip together salsa and
chimichangas that are out of this world!
