Teaching Background
I received my B.S. in Education from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, and
my M.A. in Educational Psychology with a specialty in School Counseling from the
University of Washington. I have been teaching in Seattle Public Schools
since 1985. Besides Stevens, I have taught at Sand Point (which is now
closed), Dunlap, Dearborn Park, and ASA Mercer Middle School. I must say
that fifth grade is my favorite year to teach!
Interests
I love to travel, and do so most summers! Europe, Mexico, Guatemala,
Costa Rico, Iceland, and every state but Maine have been my adventures. I
also enjoy gardening, biking, reading and hanging with friends.
I live with Marc and two kittens, Vladi and Zeke, who bring me so much
joy and happiness. We live in the Seward Park area and love having the lake so
accessible.
