The Stevens PTA and You
 

Our PTA Mission

To create bonds within our school community and to promote educational opportunities for all of our children. The Stevens PTA is part of a larger national organization that works with our state and district units to advocate for school children through educational outreach, fundraising, and community involvement.   

 

What the PTA does

At Stevens we host a variety of community events, provide support for teachers and enrichment opportunities for students, and encourage widespread participation in the life of our school. You can become involved by:

(1)  attending gatherings every other month for information sharing, discussion, and parent education;
(2)   volunteering your time and talents to any of our events; and

(3)   pledging your financial support to keep our programs successful

 

The PTA sponsors the following each year at Stevens:
    * 2 Accredited Math Teachers
    * Instructional Assistant
    * Vocal Music Teacher
    * Artist-in-Residence & Enhancement Program
    * Historian-in-Residence
    * After School Program

    * Classroom Supplies

    * School Directory

    * Many community-building events
